Using these tools
These notes describe how to use the current free calculators and their practical limits. Check your print provider’s requirements before using results for production.
What the tools provide
DPI Calculator provides free browser-based tools for image print fit, pixel conversions, JPEG/PNG density metadata inspection and editing, and screen PPI calculation. No account or payment is required to run them.
Your image files
Files selected for the image tools are processed in your browser. The tools do not upload those files to a DPI Calculator server. You can download a changed copy when using the converter; keep your original file for reference.
Check production requirements
The calculations describe pixels, physical size, and image placement. They cannot predict final print quality, color, paper behavior, or acceptance by a particular print service. Check the provider’s current specifications and order a physical proof for critical work.
